Blackberry maker, RIM, begs to differ with Steve Jobs’ assertion that all smartphones have antenna problems. Apple is just trying to „distort the public’s understanding of an antenna design issue and to deflect attention,” the co-CEOs write in an animated statement.
„One thing is for certain, RIM’s customers don’t need to use a case for their Blackberry smartphone.”
Now before Blackberry users get too full of themselves, Chris Matyszczk concludes his wrap-up of the RIM response thusly: „There will be those who will wonder whether this technological conservatism is what makes BlackBerrys so terribly boxy and businesslike in their design. It really is so hard to have it all in life.”
I wonder how much boxy the iPhone becomes with that stupid „free” case! 😉
